Assalamualaikum.
Allahu Akbar! Charity is due upon us. Indeed, there are so many different things we can do for charity, including a nice word to someone, a smile to your sibling, some spare money to a person in need, an online donation to a righteous charity or masjid, or even half a date in charity. Check out these beautiful reminders:
"Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and then do not follow up what they have spent with reminders [of it] or [other] injury will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve." [see the Translation of the Meaning, 2:262]
"Those who spend their wealth [in Allah 's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve." [see the Translation of the Meaning, 2:274]
